Sculptor, yogini, mother of musically talented Tracey, companion to “ancient” Pekinese, Eloise. Merilee is Rose and Cheyenne’s neighbor across the path.
In addition to teaching the craft and art of sculpting in various mediums, Merilee teaches yoga, swim, dance, and various innovative movement classes. Only 5’ tall, she is lithe and strong and can be counted on to show up whenever physical stamina and strength are required in the fields, in the workshops, or repairing a vehicle; an avid gardener, Merilee supplies fresh food to the communal kitchen; a potter and sculptor, she shares the art of revealing form within form with the children and any others who take her classes.
Also a weaver/spinner, Merilee likes to spin while Tracey plays her harp (Autumn, 12/3/2010).
Traveled with Rose, Cheyenne, Cathy and Mitre to Balboa’s wedding in the northern Village of Jasper (Journey, 9/9/2005).
