An ordinary life

This is Rose’s story. Rose is an ordinary woman, in an ordinary village, much like every other village on Earth–an Earth at peace. She speaks through her journals, part of a narrative for the village history project.

Rose grew up in Ordinary. With the love of her life, Cheyenne, she raised two daughters, Jasmine and Balboa. She and Cheyenne work and play among family and friends. Some they have known all their lives. Others came to the village through marriage or chose to settle there after their youthful exploration of the world.

Rose’s story is a vision of how we might live–little snippets of daily life that point the way for us, should we live mindfully, take care for the consequences of our choices, relinquish greed, jealousy and hatred, and choose instead harmony and peaceful resolution of conflict.
